In our city, there are many intersections with traffic lights. Once I took my nephew who is 4 years old to kindergarten in a morning. When we walked to a intersection, the traffic light happened to be red but there were no vehiceles coming from our left and right, and I was in a hurry so I intended to cross the road. My nephew stopped me shouting "we can't run the red light." I told him "we can cross now that there are no cars coming although light is red". But my nephew insisted on waiting for the green, I "obey" him finally and said" you are a good guy" to him simlingly. My friends, What will you say if you are coming through this situation?

Your nephew was doing a right thing in this case. You know, we adults are in fact setting an example to the kids whatever deeds we are doing. It affects them a lot, so whatever we do, we are supposed to set a good example for them to follow. I appreciate what your nephew did. He is a good boy. Thanks for the interesting discussion.

Your nephew is a law abiding citizen when he is old enough to cross the street. You should never teach him the wrong ways to violate traffic rule and regulations, even if the traffic light is red and no vehicles are there to bang you when crossing the street. You should be the guide and teach the right ways and never teach the wrong ways.Just remember that kids remembers what the old are teaching,so beware not to teach the wrong ways because they surely imitate from your wrong ways, yet the child has his own ways he thinks are the right ways.

wow he is so cute. kids are very sharp now and when i was a kid I did not know anything. I am sure I would have stopped and wait for the green light as he had noticed it and I would not wanna break rules in front of a kid who knows it. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.
