How fancy are u about your pet name?

Well we all have a pet name that is given to us either by are parents or by our friends. While some sound stylish and funky, some are annoying to hear.
Thankfully i was never called by any such names although my universal nick name was Raja. I enjoy the name as it meant King in Hindi. ha ha.
What about your thoughts regarding this? How much do u like your pet name?

Hey thanks a ton for your response. Well must say that was pretty interesting to know about the history of your pet name and i too love your nick name as it sounds pretty funky and cool also.
yes i believe at times pet names might just be annoying when they are sounding completely weird and odd to one's ears it would be better then to be called by our real names then.
What say?
