Slippers not in pair...

One evening I went to a shop planning to buy a pair of footwear but to my surprise when I am about enter the door of that store I found out that my slippers wasn't matched. They are of the same color but different in style. I was hesitant to buy that pair of sandal that I wanted to buy but when I noticed that my slippers was not in pair I felt the urge to really buy it at that moment. And another thing I had in mind, if I would buy that footwear I need to fit it on my feet and when I do that for sure the store attendant would notice my slippers. I decided not to buy and go home right away instead. But I remembered that I need to go somewhere else after buying that supposed footwear, how could I go to the mall wearing those slippers not in pair? So I put a big smile on my face to the store attendant and buy the footwear. Have you experienced wearing footwear not in pair? What happened?

I've never been in such a situation. If that had happened to me, I think I'd have went home and changed. Or I might as well buy a new pair and wear them . It's a good thing I'm not into slippers. These things could really get mixed up especially if they're of a similar shade of color. This has happened a few times to my wife. It's a good thing though that she usually has an extra pair of footwear in the car.

It happened to me only 1's. But I was really surprised then when I noticed it I was in the middle of the city... LOL. Good thing it happened in the evening and not so obvious to the passersby.

That's funny though my experience is different but somehow related to slipper issue, i also went out to mini-stop one night here as i woke up very hungry and since there's mini stop nearby so i just walk to buy some food. Then while im almost near the strap of my slipper give up, as if i don't know if ill just go bare foot or just with one slipper but i manage to walk like dragging my other foot behind, and so i manage to buy food and saw those slippers in the store and supposed to buy one but so expensive so i just decided to just go home with that broken strap since its already past midnight and no one is in the street that time aside from those passing vehicles which is also seldom. I just walk like nothing happened until i reached my house.

I had also an experience like yours. I was in the middle of the city when my slipper's strap broke. I was thinking of buying a new pair but the mall nearby was already closed. So I went to the small store beside the street who are selling slippers but when I ask for its price it's very expensive for a low quality slipper. It costs 70php and I thought it was just more or less 30php. I texted my boyfriend so he would pick me but he didn't noticed my message right away. Right then I managed to drag the broken slipper with my foot to the jeepney stop able to went home LOL.

that does seem sort of weird. here where i live all the shoes are in pairs unless the price is deeply discounted. i remember shopping at a Sears outlet store and they had a bin of shoes and the sign said $1.00 a pair but the trick was finding two matching ones. you could have spent hours looking for the match! i finally gave up and left the store.

That slippers that is not in pair that I wore are my old slippers from home. Its because I can't switch on the light before I left my room I mistakenly got two different slippers but of the same colors.
