A mother never forgets...

Almost every midnight we are awaken by a shout of a mid seventies old woman who suffers Alzheimer's disease. She was living with her daughter who is our neighbor. We heard something as if someone was hitting the old woman and that makes her scream and whine of pain. Then her daughter would shout saying that she was supposed to sleep and not talking and walking in the middle of the night. I pity the old woman because sometimes she was being chained when she tries to escape the house. And when she tries to go out she was forcefully drag inside without hesitation. During the day, few neighbors would come and visit her. She was telling them stories about her kids. She had one girl and one boy and keep mentioning their names. My mother would tell me, "See, a mother will never forget her kids. Probably, if only she knows what will happen in the future she will regret raising that ungrateful daughter of hers." At early age, i saw a negative reality of life. And it gives me a lesson to understand. My mom is right. She was raised and her mother would woke up in the middle of the night to take care of her.Yet, she cannot pay back the sacrifices her mother had with her when she was a baby.

What kind of daughter she has... When I'm reading your post, I am angry at that woman who's supposed to take care of her mother. I hope she will also be treated like that someday but without any disease in order to realize what she has done to her own mom. I hope other daughters out there are not like her. Happy mylotting.

It sounds barbaric but i understand because i cannot also control my feelings when i see her daughter in the morning acting as if nothing happened.

Aw, that is so sad. In time, she will repay all what she's doing to her mother. She was carried 9 months in her womb, raised her, feed and educate her yet she does that with pride. She can be reported with that act and social welfare will be the one who wil take care of her mother.

Yes, time will come that she will suffer like her mother. Because she is not showing good examples for her kids. And when that time comes she will remember how painful she had done to her mother.
