I'm able to get wifi on the mall.

I am at the mall right now and I am posting on the mall. Thankfully I was able to connect at the wifi SM mall in manila Philippines. At first I thought it would not be able to connect qt all. After ten minutes of keep trying to connect that I was able to. Before no matter how hard I try I would not be able to. Maybe because it's just early and the mall has just opened and there are still few people who are using the wifi on the mall.

I think most SM malls are wired now and have free wifi access for the public as long as you "accept" their terms and conditions. I wouldn't personally use that connection though to log onto important email accounts and my online banking, being a public hotspot the securities might be too lax, or even very minimal.

Oh I didn't think of that. Anyway I just hope no one would get my password in my email and Facebook account also.

Well good thing that malls now offer free wifi for their mall goers but it is always hard to connect especially when the mall is too crowded. Sometimes it is better to connect to some fast foods or restaurants inside that offers free wifi too.
But still thanks to them for giving free wifi to its customers.

I've also done this, I went to the SM near our house and do mylotting there for few hours. I did not have any problems with their connection as I have posted and commented to discussions easily. It is just that it is quite hard to type words on my cellular phone unlike when I am using my laptop.

Hi hotsummer! Actually, in our place, Wifi connection is almost everywhere. Jolibbee, McDo, Biggs, and almost anywhere. You can even order for a coffee and you can be online the whole day by using the store's wifi.
We also have our wifi at the office so I have no problem with my connection. I can be online anytime.
