I am very happy, traveling by boat, for if I go to Jakarta I always take the bus, because the bus ride, it would climb aboard. So I am very happy. on board I can enjoy the beautiful scenery, in the early morning or late afternoon. but it's what I want to travel by speed boat, not the domestic inter-island vessels. because the speed boat ride we can go to a small island in the middle of the sea, and we can go to the small islands we wanted to visit. I always had a dream to be able to travel by speed boat. I want to aim a thousand islands, the island karimun, island berhala, and much more. you also like to travel by boat? Are you among those who get seasick, I hope not, because it's very fun once traveling by boat. : D

During first year at work, when the company's staffs are still at minimum, we always travel by boat going to work. But then, employees now are thousands and it would be too costly for the company to provide boats. So now, we ride on a RORO. I don't have that sea sickness and it's so fun to ride in a boat especially when there are big waves.

I traveled to Indonesia's island called Sumatra from Singapore on buses and ferries. I remember feeling sea sick so I went to sit on the narrow deck. I was enjoying the fresh sea breeze and the views. It was awful when the captain put his dinner out the window of his cabin. Yuck I had thought about that. The ferry on Lake Toba was a smooth ride as that wasn't the open ocean. Leaving Sumatra I went to Malaysia on a high speed ferry. I have a high fever and kept being sick. I stayed ill for a whole week. I prefer to travel by train than by ferry. I would love to go island hopping and snorkeling in the Philippines. That is a country which relies heavily on ferries even more so that lovely Indonesia. In rough waves on a ferry I always feel ill and vomit is the waves are very high. I vomited on a rough journey on a ferry from Wales to Ireland. I remember thinking next time I cross the Irish Sea I will go on a plane.

There are so many islands in Indonesia. I hope to visit it one day because of its beautiful and natural scenery. It sounds great to travel there by the high speed boat. No matter what, a normal vessel is also fine for me because I have no more experience to travel by ship. I hope to have a different experience.

Actually, I hate travelling via sea because I easily feel dizzy. II think I have experienced riding boat and ferry twice. It is fun though it's scary and I was seasick that time. I can ride again a boat but just in time with no much big waves. I am afraid that the boat might sink.

Hello bendygno! Travelling is such a great experience especially on a boat! Travelling by boat means being in water and water (sea/river, etc) is very calming too. I had travelled in a big vesselved boat for 24hours! I roamed around where there are canteen, entertainment/bars, swimming pool and a lot more. I had met few people there too. Its cool when we passed certain islands and there are many nice sceneries. Philippines is such a wonderful country. You can travel by differenr kinds of boat -- be it big or small. I am not saying this because I live here but relly it is. I hope you will include on your lists to visit my country too

Travelling by boat is both exciting and scary thing for me. Just a few months back my friends and I visited a famous beach just a less two hour travel by boat. I just don't like it when the waves are big co's it only not brings dizziness it also makes me throw up. But I really enjoy the boat ride when the scenery is really beautiful for it relaxes my mind.

Travel by boat is much fun rather then with a ship. Seasick happen mostly when we ride a ship, cause we only sit and do nothing. It will be different if we ride a boat, cause we could see arround us. Its force our mind to keep work and forget anything that make us get worried.

Hey thanks for sharing your experience of taking a boat travel. Indeed a boat travel is always fun and entertaining as u get to see a closer look of the nature and it gives u an immense pleasure in the process. i have always loved the boat journey as i get to see nature very closely and the wind that blows while taking the journey is simply amazing and cannot be expressed in words. What say?

Not me at all. I would absolutely be terrified if I had to travel by boat. I think they would have to sedate me and then restrain me. There's something about traveling on water that freaks me out. I'm not terrified by water because I love the beach but for the life of my I can't swim and I don't want to be in a situation where I'm about to die and I know there's nothing I could do about it cause I know I can't swim! Lol that's the only thing I think about " what if something happens to this boat and it goes down" I know it's silly but that's the way I think lol
