Hi everyone. I'm planning to buy a tablet this coming December 2012 as a gift for myself and as a gadget for my work also. I want a gadget where I could use skype and save some files and where I could bring anywhere. So I decided to buy a tablet. But I'm not yet decided of what brand of tablet is the best right now that could fit my pocket. I'm planning to buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 P3100. Do you think this is okay? I mean the features? Could you recommend a tablet that could best suite me needs? Thanks

I am aso planning to buy a tablet however, Samsung galaxy tab is just too expensive for me. Instead, I have decided to get the Alcatel One Touch Tab and I heard one network here in the Philippines is offering that for free in one of their postpaid plans. If you have the budget for the galaxy tab then go for it, so long as it meets your needs.

HP Touch Pad. I am not sure if it's available here though.

Hey fatlex, if you are planning to get a gift for your self then it's best idea to for Samsung galaxy tab 2 or else you can also go for apple. I saw the performance of apple. It's a best gadget for your self. If u want to give it as a gift for others then go for cheaper ones no problem.

Thanks for the reply. I'm thinking for apple as well but I've read a thread that Samsung apps are much better than Appl's because it could be maximized. And yes, it's for myself. :) Thanks for this.

I'm also planning to buy a tablet and I was thinking about Torque, it's not that expensive, it's just within my budget. I'm not really particular about brands so Torque will do for me. They said that it will release a new tablet late this year, that's what I'm waiting for.
