Horrific Event at The Hospital Last Night.....

I am a nurse I was on duty last night, nocturnal shift. I had this female old patient suffering from increased creatinine- which means that she has a defective kidney. The patient was weak and feeble. She couldn't even stand to go to the bathroom. At 1am, I went to the other station to make referrals to a physician via phone call. It lasted for 8 minutes. When I returned to my own station, I was shocked to see my patient walk fast along the aisle and run towards the stairs going down to the pharmacy. Her intravenous lines were all dislodged, even her indwelling Foley Catheter. My midwife partner and I hurriedly chased her and caught her beside the pharmacy, with blood from her IV sites dripping on the floor. She was weak and wasn't able to stand straight this time. We brought her back to the ward per wheelchair. We inserted back new lines for intravenous infusion and I also inserted a new Foley urinary Catheter. When she was apparently doing better, I asked her what happened. She told me that two women came near her and slowly took off her IV tubings, and they also pulled off her catheter. She said that a man came and invited her to transfer to the ward downstairs because it is much cooler and more comfortable there. The man carried her in his arms and guided her along the hallway and the stairs going down the hospital. THIS IS ALL SHE CAN REMEMBER. However, I didn't believe her because there's a possibility of hallucinations in her case due to her high creatinine level in her blood which may affect cognition and sensory perceptions. I was so bewildered because I could not believe that a weak old lady like her could take off her own IV, pull off her own catheter and even pull down her bed side rails which were very strongly fastened. Her fellow patients in the ward never heard of anything and were all asleep. They also could not believe what happened because they heard no noise at all. They were thinking about superstitious beliefs that the people whom she reported invited her out are spirits of the dead. The story grew and became so creepy that I was clouded by those thoughts and seemed to forget that I am in the medical field.... Somehow, their superstitious allegations were believable..... but since I am a nurse, I focused on science... It's a good thing that nothing bad happened to my patient. She had no injury or the sort... She was coherent and conversant/... But still, I was left worried for her safety and so I made myself more cautious and alert this time.....

Knowing that you are from Davao like me made me get scared and guessing which hospital might that be, because I have just visited a friend who was admitted because of miscarriage... You are right, it may be hallucinations and some abnormal strength came in out of her consciousness. I am not knowledgeable about that. It's just my own hallucinations also but I hope it will not happen to your patient or to ant other patients anymore.

Yes, I have seen there are many fellow DavaoeƱos here. Oh my, I think mylot members are bewitched... another mylotter have also shared yesterday that he was in the ATM machine. He inserted the card but there was no money released so he waited. Then he went inside and reported it to the management. They opened the machine but there was no card inside it. He gave an alibi that he will report it to his bank just to leave the place, because when he opened his wallet, he found the card there... creepy stories...

People in the last throes of Tuberculosis are known to find the energy to get out of bed and try to stand. This may be a similar phenomenon. On the other hand, meddling with the occult does lay people open to interference by evil spirits.
