I have been dealing with a customer at work for over a month. He called or emailed the company i work for to finalize some permits that needed to be done before he closed on a house. No big deal but now my permits are done and signed off with. He texts me on my personal phone asking to have a change of contractor form for the gas permits that need to be finalized. This is goig to be his third gas company to try to get this done for him. I called the last company to pull off the permit and to get there permit off the job. He writes a email asking why i called the gas company to have them pull off the permit? His statement is why did you feel appelled to call the gas company and tell them i was doing a change of contractor? I didnt write back because my statement would be because your not going to pay them for there work they have done for you, this guy is a real scumbag and a pain in the butt to work with. I hope i never have to deal with this guy again i have gone out of my way to do this for him. Would you have told the gas company that the owner was going to do another change of contractor or just let it be?

I too would have told the company as well. He shouldn't have a problem with you telling the company because after all he is changing contractors. But some people want to take advantage of others. I wouldn't feel bad about it either because he is the one who wanted to get you involved in his dealings and you were honest and upfront with the company. So if he doesn't want people telling his business then he should handle his own issues.

If I where on your shoe I would probably tell the contractor. I believe that truth set people free. I think this is the best way to get rid of him or at least make him think that what he is doing is no longer good. I hate to compromise on things for anybody who only thinks of themselves like that guy. Have a great day lologirl
