Recently I was online chatting with my fiancee and she had over at her sisters house a videoke machine. I have never heard of this before and Got interested in trying it. What do you all think? Is videoke better than karaoke? I remember the days of going to bowling alleys and singing with my friends, and trying to compete in the contests. We never won but it was all mostly for fun. I really hope that one day I am able to buy a machine. But now that this videoke is going strong, I might just get that instead...lol Anyway, what do you all think?

Videoke is better than karaoke because you would be reading the lyrics off of the machine. That is the rage now in most Asian countries. There are places where you could rent a room all for your self and sing with your friends to your heart's content. Have you been to the Philippines yet? There are so many people operating videoke machines.

I thought the karaoke machine has already been improved already. Unlike before that I've seen some karaoke machine without lyrics because it's just like a radio. I'm not up-to-date on this one.

It is fun especially if you love to sing. Filipinos are born music lovers and entertainers. And most Asian countries, too. I heard the videoke first came from South Korea and if you watch their movies or TV series, there would always be the videoke room, the nore bang as they say or song room.

Karaoke now no longer used in the Philippines, the love more in videoke. Atleast while you are singing you can see the lyrics of the song on the tv screen. As you all know, Filipinos love to sing even not in good tone. They highly believe constant practice will make them perfect

Despite of the challenges we are facing everyday, still we have a guts to smile and enjoy ourselves that is not common to other nationalities.

Hahaha. I know how you feel. It is great fun doing this videoke and I will do it again. Filipinos are awesome people, and have a huge heart and I think that they are able to have little fun so when they are able, they have as much fun as they can! lol Thanks for the response.

As for me i want to own the machine where you it teaches to dance, you know where you have to steps on the lighted arrow. I am sure it is fun as it can be as an exercise method. I also would like to own the virtual set which i dont know what its called i saw it in movie where the figure outside of the screen like 3D and if someone walks in we can switch it off...sorry i dont know how to explain it

Hi codymac! I think they are both good form of relaxation. You just have to follow the lyrics on the screen when you sing along with the music. After the song, you will get a score.

Great, and thanks for this. She was singing it in front of the screen and having a blast. I even joined in on a song. But I didnt know about it until recently. I might try it here in the US now that I have seen it...
