Sometimes I Get Opinionated.

Hey. Look. With all of this presidential debating and so forth there are some things getting caught in the crossfire. I really don't talk about politics that much, but hey, Big Bird is a target right now. How did things get so far? I hope that people are looking at how far reaching government can stretch. Now a question is soon to be posed. What part should government play in education? Should it be more or less?

Well we all have our opinions. I too have mine and try not to get caught in the cross fire of debates but it happens. I personally think government should have less of a role in schools and with education. I would have to follow Ron Paul when it came down to it, who wants to abolish the department of education. Why you might ask.. well I don't know how many of you have been in the schools. But I remember clearly leaving my highschool only 2 years ago, I remember my middle school and my elementary school. Seems like there was never enough of anything. I remember things changing drastically and how much of a difference there was from 5th grade to 10th grade and how crazy it really was. Teachers aren't getting paid enough, schools cant meet standards because students are learning everything they need to learn because the class sizes are too big and teachers are quitting and going on strike because there aren't enough of them and they aren't making enough to live on with the job they do. It's a huge circle. That I believe would go in a much better direction of the Department of Education was abolished amoungst many other departments that could use to be abolished as well. There are other reasons but I don't want to write you a book lol I believe the DOE is the puppet master behind it all. Letting the states, schools, and teachers take the fall for it.

It really does seem like there is a problem with class size, proposed educational requirements and so forth. Ron Paul had good ideas, but independents are looked over for president. I hope one day that is no longer the case.
