I think having access to information about the Kama Sutra and such 'romantic' things is very important in ranking a romantic people. I have always that of the latino people as being romantic. I don't think any one place is the most romantic or has the most romantic people. It is on a individual basis.

I am glad that I was able to come across with this discussion because it gave me additional knowledge on a new topic. Although I am not very familiar as to the customs and traditions of other countries at least it gave me an idea on this specific issue. Since I came from an Asian country, perhaps it will not be good if I will not say that we Filipinos are one of the most romantic people in the world. We have different ways of showing our love and I'm sure those could be enough reason for me to say that we are indeed are romantic. But maybe not that showy.

Hello! I think in every place there are people who are romantic in their own rights... :D We cannot actually generalize because we haven't met all the people in the world. But for me, Filipinos are romantic especially when speaking about the customs of wooing a woman. Men's custom way of wooing is by visiting the girl in her house. Bringing a guitar and singing outside the house of the girl, while the girl watches him from the window. Men also brings flower and food for the girl, writes her a loveletter, and goes to the house of the girl to help her in household chores.:D Unfortunately, the usual ways of filipinos are already changing and instead adopting the culture of Americans.. I think Filipinos are already losing their own identity.

I don't know about whole world. But i believe that Indians are very romantic and they are true lovers. There are many couples who has written their names in history for giving a true example of love. Such as Heer - Ranjha, Soni - Mahiwal, Laila - Majnu. Even our God has given the example of Love. Lord Krishna - Goddess Radha had created a new example of Love. Lord Rama who only loved his wife. He never married any other woman. There are many other examples which happens every day in India.
