Are you willing to die for a foolish man?

In the photo below are men carrying crosses. What was it for? It was their way of making amends for the sins they have committed. They thought that by carrying crosses and self inflicted pains, they will be forgiven for their sins. The scripture is clear enough that through Christ alone can man be forgiven. It is an absolute decree that will never and can never be altered. Christ died for foolish men that they may be saved but most people refuse this in exchange of their own means. Every year we can witnessed people in the street hurting themselves under an old and unscriptural religiosity.
