Our beloved grandma died today.

Yesterday was my dad's 9th Death Anniversary. Yesterday evening my youngest sister received a message saying that our grandma was in a hospital. Just a few minutes ago, my elder sister sent me a message thru chat that our grandma died already. It's a sad day. I last saw her two years ago. I wish to go home at once but I don't know if my boss will allow us. "Us" because my youngest sister and I work at the same company. Oh...

My deepest sympathy to your family! Let's pray your grandma's soul. May she rest in peace! Hope angels would guide her to heaven. Let's cross our fingers too that may your boss allows you to come home together with your sister for the two of you can attend the burial. +

Thanks a lot for the prayer. Yes, I also hope that angels would guide her to heaven. I guess my boss is busy now. I went to him and borrowed a wireless internet phone and he didn't appeared in front of me. He just opened the door and handed the phone. I'm still at work now til 11pm tonight. It's only 7:44pm now. Thanks for posting Jenith.

Maybe you need to wait til he has idle time and in good mood so it's easy for him to say "yes" when you ask him for vacation leave. Break a leg!

Oh, thanks riyauro. We'll go home tomorrow. We have to settle our schedules first for tomorrow and we have to tell our students that we can't have our classes tomorrow. Thanks for posting.

aw condolence sis.. I think they will allow both of you, as long as you're not working exactly at a same division in which you take her place when she's on leave and vice versa. Here in our office, bosses are very considerate about matters like this. Hope your company is too. :) May she rest in peace..

They allowed us meowchie. It was our first time not to go to work for four years. And I was surprised, there's a deduction. LOL. It should be a paid leave but this company is not offering paid vacation, etc. We only have our monthly salary and our 13th month pay. Thanks for posting meowchie.
