Hi friend, i agree tattoo is really a good art, but i am not interested in sticking it in my body. Good to know that you like temporary tattoos and keep them changed frequently. It is not a sin and sticking tattoo in body is based on the individual wish

I dont think it should be a sin. I mean there are tribes that modify their body and their god doesnt forbiddem them to do that i guess. Why shouldnt we mark are body? It is the only thing we can actually say we are bringing to our grave besides our memories.

hi, yes, indeed that tattoo is an art but not to all people, there are still people who don't like tattoo in their body because its only a mess when they have it,maybe it will depend on how they will have it and what design they will put in their body.

Some people says it is a sin and some are don't.Well it would really depends on what a person believe in.Definitely it is a kind of art wherein other people express their selves through tattooing.

First off, I do not believe tattoos in themselves are a sin. And even if by some chance they are a sin, aren't all sins forgivable? Yes. I also believe it's not what you do, but what's in your heart. If you have good intentions and are a good person, things like tattoos, money, etc are not evil or a sin. However, if you have wrong intentions and are an immoral person, you can turn tattoos and money, etc into something sinful. Some people can use tattoos and body art for evil purposes (i.e.: worshiping the devil), and some can use it for good (i.e.: worshiping the Lord, or even just expressing yourself and telling your story.) Anything can be used for evil. Tattoos in themselves are not a sin. And unless you are worshiping the devil or harming someone or breaking the law, get as many tattoos as you want. It is perfectly OKAY. And if it turns out that they are a sin, you will be forgiven. Your physical body cannot follow you to heaven. Your spirit does. You cannot physically tattoo or alter your spirit. And damaging your body is not a sin in itself. I use to cut myself. I will have scars the rest of my life. Cutting myself was a sin. I was going through some things in life, it was my way of coping, and it wasn't the only sin I was committing. But I am long done with that lifestyle and living in pain and sin. I have been forgiven, so my scars will not be the reason I go to hell. Neither way the piercings or tattoos I have or will get.

i don't think that if you tattoo your body, it is a sin just because i agree with you that it is art. however, on the flip side, God says your body is a temple and you shouldn't defile it. so i guess i am on the fence about it.
