I'm really upset with AT&T but they did try to make it right

Okay, here's the deal. I made arrangements to make a payment to AT&T for $60. I had already made one for $60 and thought it had already credited my bank... but I didn't check the bank.. I just went by my checkbook register. So In the mean time I went to the doctor and that was $70. There was an automatic debit that hit too which made the $60 bounce. I called to make sure that they wouldn't put it through again on Oct 9, and the guy said it wouldn't. Well today on Oct 17 it did hit my bank again and it bounced on my account because I don't have any more money to put into my account until I get paid. So now I am in the negative. Now I have a $35 charge on my checking account... Grrr! I was fuming mad that they put it through again so that it bounced twice. The first one is my fault, but the second $35 is their fault for putting it through again when they weren't supposed to. The man said it wouldn't and they did put it through again. Well, the representative for AT&T talked to her manager and they are crediting my cell phone account with $35. I already have a $19 credit for a download I didn't do but got on there.. so now I have a $54 credit. I will only owe $6 on that bill now with the credit. Then I will also have to make November's payment. Have you ever had a cell phone provider mess you up like I got messed up? Your thoughts?

I'm so lost why are they taking the money, here you have to pay it they dont take it. So for example they say mine is due the 22nd of every month, and I have to pay it by then, they dont take it, I have to log into the bank website, and transfer the money, or else my account with the phone company will just go up, and if you dont pay it they will shut it off. But it's good they got it fixed, I know I've had issues with Bell, and got no where. But being a big company they dont care about 1 customer.

Yes, I transferred the money, but it bounced due to an automatic debit hit me that I forgot about. If I hadn't gone to the doctor ($70), I wouldn't have been so short. There would have been enough for it, if it hadn't bounced. My complaint was that they sent it through AGAIN and it bounced again. They AREN'T supposed to do that. The lady yesterday said that almost never happens so she talked to her supervisor and they gave me a $35 credit for the bounce fee that hit my account. They can't send it back to the bank, but they gave me a credit. The nearly $20 that I got credited was for a download that I didn't do. She asked if I put my phone number on websites like Amazon and other places. I said yes. She said anyone could use your number and send a download. I get texts all the time from crap I don't want. I don't open them. So AT&T gave me my money back and then stopped the spammers from getting to my account somehow.
