You are right when you say that our choices in life are very important, as they can completely change the path that life takes us down. I had to make a lot of big decisions a couple of years back when I was thinking about which University I was going to go to. When I think back to that decision, and the people that I met through going there, it shocks me to think about how different my life would have been if I hadn't made that choice. I would never have met the best friends who I have now, so I am glad that I made that choice.
