For some people, it feels so amazing to visit a Chinese Temple. It was like a total experience of time travel in China Town.

Chinese Temple is at the bottom of my to do list but it would be amazing to see. I hope that for those people they get there and it is all they think it will be. I have been to two China Towns in my life and neither of them are in China.

I have visited other temples and I can say that, visiting such places give us more information, not to mention the feeling when we are inside those building. There's an unusual feeling that I can't understand and indescribable.

Can you describe some of the thoughts that were in your mind while watching a Chinese temple ? Maybe you thought how glory were the ancient days when people acted according to their believes, having peaceful life and working their gods... If I were into a Chinese temple, I would like to know what the people did inside it, what did they do outside of the temple. What kind of life and way of life did they have. What was their philosophy. It can be a thing many people agree on and can feel solidarity with.

I can't say its a total experience of time travel because I really can't remember what is was like . Anyway, I have been to a Chinese Temple once and that was 15 years ago. I was so small back then, can't even remember what it looked like. I see some of my friends going to the Chinese temple here in Cebu and I see that it is nice. I may one day go there if I have the time. Then I may be able to say it's indeed a total experience of time travel to China.

It does sound interesting. I wonder in what dynasty it was built. And the history about it . I am sort of interested in history and would not mind knowing if there were any wars going on, if the monks had to fight an invader, etc.

There are really a lot of temples in China. And yeah, most of them have the similar structure, and almost the same statues in the temples. People who believe buddhism go there often. There is a temple near my home called Xiangguo Temple, it is one of the most famous buddhist temples in China.

i think every country in the world has a chinatown. they also have chinese temples, and for me it is one of the tourist spots that can best be discovered by any of us. And you should see the details of the construction of the temples, as a very keen observer i am amazed by the details.

I've only seen pictures and it looks amazing. I've been to China Town in Honolulu, Hawaii and it was very cool. Our pastor taught a class on how to speak Cantonese and for our class trip we went to China Town and had to speak to at least one business or local person and order some food in Cantonese. It was a great time and it helped me to learn a new language.

I shall go to Chinese temple to pray or to seek the advice from my God if I have an resolve or undecidable problem. Normally, Chinese temple is a place for the local Chinese society to gather especially during certain special festival at my country, Malaysia. This place represents our culture and mostly the Chinese temples were built since many years ago when the Chinese from China migrated and settle at Malaysia. Of course, we can experience the Chinese cultures at this place too.
