We are in an industrialize country where every thing is an easy access. And because of wide use of market to disposable materials the plastic company are earning doubled compare to other products. Thus, the attitude of buy and throw of the consumers are rampant. According to some studies the plastic garbage materials is one major cause of floods. The improper disposal of it such as burning the plastic can endangered health and affects our ozone layer. It is a world wide campaign that we have to reuse our plastic bag and recycle. This awareness campaign is usually an issue in our wide screen and radio. Are you one of the buy and throw individual? What things would you contribute to help our environment?

Sad to say that there are people who doesn't care on how our environment looks like, throwing of garbage anywhere, then later on blame on other people of the government. Yes, recycling is a worldwide campaign but as if only few are practicing it. Like where I am now, I have seen plastic containers of juice, water, shampoo and it's kind although being thrown in the garbage, I don't see that people here are for recycling. We should really be aware of the recycling campaign, after all this is for our own good.

One good thing here in Mexico, is almost everything is bought as a recyclable. Plastics, glass, tires, metals even old tires are all bought.

Yeah it's really hard for me to think about how wasteful of a country America is and I can only imagine that any other developed country is probably at least a little similar in their amount of waste. Everywhere you go and virtually everything we buy has something with it that is thrown away. I think plastic is the biggest problem because it takes so long to break down that it will be here long after many of us have passed away. I think that if we could start employing more biodegradable packaging it would definitely make a big difference. Also if we could make recycling more of a requirement that would help a lot too. If our world really wants to see a difference in what we are doing to it we as human beings have to make doing so more accessible so that way even people that don't care about their ecological output would at least have that option. Even then we may have to force people into doing what is right for our planet because at the rate of what we are doing it won't be able to sustain all of the garbage and waste we give off.

Everyone must participate when it comes to saving planet earth. But, it's very sad not everyone are aware of this global warming- some just ignore the climate change and still do their wrong doings when it comes to waste disposal. Here in our country, floods are everywhere. Before when it's rainy season everyone rejoices but now, everyone are scared when rainy season comes. I always dispose plastic containers and bags properly. I also try to re-use other things rather then throwing.

The plastic bags that we used to have are non biodegradable and so it does contribute in the flooding of the city if they are disposed improperly. But recently there have been newly developed plastics which are biodegradable. So I think that should help us with our need for a sturdier bag when shopping or going to the grocery.
