Has there been an instance when you feel like you want to start a discussion but just can't proceed. You know for a fact that there are a lot of things running in your mind and when you start to type in the keyboard you won't come up with the idea you want to come up with. It is so frustrating. You tried to start over again when you don't like the way you started. Do it again nad again and again but still it won't come up with the way you want it to be.. Just like now, there's something I want to share but i just don't know how to start it and I end up doing this..

Yeah! I feel you! It always happen to me. I really feel like wanting to start a discussion but I cannot come up with good thoughts. And suddenly, I just end up posting nothing! :)

But indeed, you made a very great discussion out of nothing.
Well I have a different method in posting discussions here. I think of topics to be discussed here and write in a paper. But I only think of 5 new discussions at a time. After I have posted those 5 discussions, I will stop for a while. Probably I would respond to some discussions or post comment or read the responses of my previous discussions or mark best responses. But I allot separate time in thinking of new discussions to be discussed here.

Oh.. thanks Allen. This is the beauty of writing a discussion when it comes so natural. It flows so smooth. I am actually planning to do that as well, wrote it first on a paper but the thing is, I am only limited of time. Especially if I have to go to work. I can only allot like 2 hrs here in Mylot, I even miss it sometimes because of too many things I have to do as well. Good for you if you work at home or if you have a more relax schedule.It would really be easier if that is the case.

I feel that way also, give it a rest, relax, go outside, enjoy nature or the view then do it again sometimes you just need a fresh perspective.

Actually, there are a lot of discussions that I started but was not able to make a good conclusion so I drop it. There are really times when I can not focus on what I want to say or do because of a lot of things that I want or have to accomplish at a given time.
It's just okay. With so many available topics we can write about, we can still make a good discussion. We just have to be patient at all times.

Your right and we just need some focus. And I believe though our discussions should be naturally flowing. I believe it would end up better if it goes that way. But of course we really cannot avoid cases or scenarios when as much as we want to post such interesting discussions, our minds won't just work with us.. Patience is really needed and of course concentration.

Oh yes, I have been there, lol! Sometimes it is frustrating, sometimes it is funny because I was so intent on starting it but halfway through I came up with a blank. Sometimes, I would be out and about and I would have an idea for discussion and when I get home, I can't finish it. So what I do now is I write down any new ideas that I come up with in case I have no access to mylot at the moment. Of course it doesn't solve my problem of being stumped for finishing a discussion, but at least it's a start.

Thanks for posting this discussion. Yes u are correct, i have gone through this situation a lot of time when i want to post a discussion but i did not get an appropriate content to elaborate it and hence i left that discussion as it is. But i have very soon learned the art of choosing the topics so that i can post them efficiently with all necessary elaborations.

That's right. When your mind is not set for something, you will end up with nothing. I remember how many times i had to revise my article when I was still a part of our school paper because everytime i begin to do it, I am not in the mood to do so or just that my mind is not set for it even how much I wanted to. Good thing for you if you have learned the art of choosing your topics, I bet that is really helpful to come up with an interesting topic..
