I hate waiting in long queue

Going to the bank, especially at BDO, really pisses me off. I also have to stand in a long queue every time I have a transaction. Do you also experience this? It takes too much of my precious time. What's worse is,some bank tellers are rude. I was not able to come on time in my class this afternoon because I waited for almost two hours on queue. When it was my turn, the teller called the woman behind me and to my surprise she entertained her first. Why? That was so rude.

Maybe she's a very valued client , that's why she does that. But actually, she shouldn't have done that, because you are already the one to be served. You can report her to the manager, because for sure she will be reprimanded for blatantly being rude. Valued clients are given special treatments in bank, but in a discreet manner, like letting them just go to another teller without others obviously noticing it.

But I find this so unfair.I also had another incident with one of the tellers (she's still in the bank) in the same bank few years back.I should have recorded the way she acted towards me unfortunately I was determined not to create a scene inside the bank so I held back on my emotions.Unfortunately, it didn't do any better because I was brought to the clinic because of shortness of breath.

Are you someone who appears unsmiling when transacting with tellers, belle? Some tellers gets offended by clients who are unsmiling and arrogant, that they would also show arrogance. Though, all clients should be treated with respect, because they form part of what makes a bank prosper.

That was rude of her. You should have reported her to management and I am sure that had you had enough time, you would have. If the teller was going off, she should have put on a sign on the cage or called for another teller to take her place. I have waiting on lines too. I changed banks just for that reason.

Fortunatly Banks in my country now have means of doing many things without having to wait in queue. I can deposit placing my money or cheque in an envelope at the Bank and putting it in a sealed box. It is safe as there are security guards. I can do almost all other transactions from my computer at home. I don`t like queues either and I was very happy when the supermarket I go to put a special cash out for old people. They have chairs to wait and will not accept anyone who is not old, pregnant or disabled.

That's what I actually do. This bank is strategically located inside the mall. So, I go to the mall as early as quarter past nine in the morning to stand in line while waiting for the mall to open. I've never experience this in another country. I think the bank should be more systematic and organized.

Hi friend, most of us are not interested in waiting for a long time in a great queue, really the bank person did a great unfair to you, as you mentioned you waited a long time in the queue and he called the next lady at your turn. It is not a good thing. Did you asked the reason from him? Why some persons doing this kind of unfair to their valuable customers?

Here the bank is usually very crowded and of course I am impatient to wait for the long queue. This is why I prefer to take advantage of the online banking. I try to do most of my bank issues online to avoid waiting for the long queue in the bank. I can withdraw the cash from the ATM and it is convenient.

Hello Belle, I don´t like to loose my time at the bank, time is gold. And I don´t like to use internet bank service. I use some telephone service, and here there`s a new system where you can pay in a chain of grosseries stores to your bank account, or to anybody`s else account. That`s very useful, don´t you think so? I remember time when I have to wait in a long line, I remember I used the time to pray. What do you think about? Blessings belle...dainy

It is frustrating to do banking transaction nowadays, every time it is a waste of a lot time before i can even get a simple transaction done, i am just glad i am not the only person having this sentiment, i can fully understand how you feel. I assume nothing much we can do about it so long as we want to have our money deposited in a bank and require the bank to complete the cash transaction for our personal sake and our business deals. One thing you can feel good about it is that you are not the only person who has to go through such a grueling experience and unpleasant experience. Sigh!

I have experienced that also. Maybe those are their known or regular client. Sometimes they will just leave the money and slip especially if the line is really long. They will get the transaction slip afterwards. I hate also waiting in a long line.

Hi Belle! I also experience waiting for a long time while doing bank transactions and it's okay with me as I understand there are many clients who are also waiting. But if that thing happens to me, I will not let it pass. I will demand an explanation right away. They should value each and every one because all of you are their clients. Better find a new bank. Have a nice day!

Long queues are everywhere. ATM machines, counters, parking areas etc. That's why I always bring a lot of patience everywhere. But this is human nature, I always lost my temper everytime I counter such things, for I feel the thing of being robbed. - my time is precious. Especially right now, a lot of holidays, that's why banks are so busy and we cant avoid those lines. I hope things will be better and those facilities should find a way to better serve and attend to the needs of their client in no time. Thanks

Yes of course . Waiting in long queues in banks have become quite common. Once I had to stand for almost 15 minutes and then I came to know that I had to use another queue. I got very frustated . But the bank employee was kind enough to process my request first. But I had to face the angry faces of the rest standing in queue.

that is maddening when they do that. i find that going to the doctors is like that. i always make sure i have a book or something else to occupy my time. i am hoping to get an e-reader so that will be easier to carry than a book.

I am one of the people who hates being in a queue as well, so at least you know it isn't just you who feels this way. I just think that it is a complete waste of time when you could be in another shop getting things done that are more important. But the thing that you have to remember is that there is nothing that you can do about it, if you need to be in the shop then you have to stay there no matter how busy it is, so there isn't all that much point in getting stressed out about it, because that might ruin your day.

They should do there job and get it done quick and move on to the next person in line. I have been to the bank the last two days and i hate going because lately i have to wait and im not pateint enough to wait because i need paperwork and then bring it to the other place at 5 before they close and then i get off work at 4:30 get to the bank usually around 4:45 need paperwork and then drive down the street to the other place for the mortgage company. Im trying to close on a house and the bank has been doing paperwork for me for a while now on this house stuff and its taking forever and i hope i dont have to go today to get other stuff. I think there going to get annoyed with seeing my face.

Yes BDO here don't have seats. I think it's the standard set up of BDO so people won't stay long there but only just finish transactions and leave the inconvenient bank. lol But the way she called the woman behind you first, indeed it was rude and unfair. If I was in your place I could have honestly called the Manager for that obvious dis respectfulness. I am working in a water utility (water district) and we have customers too. They fall in line and we accommodate them accordingly. If ever we will see a friend on the line, we call them BUT----we let them leave the payment and bill (NOT TRANSACT) and we tell them to just return 5 pm which is not causing delay to the person who is currently in front of the tellers. It's ok to accommodate friends, but accommodate others the way they deserve too.

It was really a problem to waste time in waiting in a long queue. So I avoided waiting as long as I can, like withdrawling money on an ATM, book the train tickets on internet.
