I kept on thinking what is the use of having stores at airport when after you purchased goods you will have to forfeit them and loose the outrightly as they will be impounded claiming that the goods were more than allowed weight and quantity before boarding the plane. What else can be refereed to as cheating or scam. What do you think about the airport duty free stores?

That's really not that much of a mystery to me. It is always a ploy to put money in the pockets of those at the airport. Of course, people who buy them, I just shake my head. Granted, I don't go to the airport all that much, but I've heard some things about the outrageous prices. It is one of those rackets that are going on, and it's just taking advantage of the trusting nature of people. It is an interesting little scheme going on for sure. So I guess you would have to give them points for effectiveness. Suck the money out of people with outrageous airline tickets and then suck the money out of people with gifts that they may not be able to even retain. It really has no use for the consumers with things like that going on. With the people running it, it has a big use.

These store are there so they can get all your money. As many people spend hours at airports waiting for planes to take off. They no youll need or want something. And of course pay a high price for it.
