I generally like to read at night, unless I am bored or get wrapped up in a good book then I will also read during the day.If I start reading a book one night and really like it,sometimes I will stay up all night reading it.If I get too tired then I will go to sleep and grab it and start where I finished will I am doing stuff.I will continue reading while I am brushing my teeth and hair, cooking, eating, riding on the the bus or if I am driving at the stop lights. Do you get addicted to a good story like that too?

I love a good read and when I am into a book I literally can't put it down either! When I read Mark Haddons 'the curious incident of the dog in the night time', I didn't put it down for an entire day! I started it at about 8 in the morning and didn't stop till 1am the next day. I also sneak a quick read when I am cooking, on the bus, in the bath you name it, but I guess thats the beauty of a well written book. :)

Hi wrenfrost, I don't believe that I have read any of Mark Haddons books.I mostly got into the Harry Potter series books,Harlequin romances (usually the western ones). As well as some Stephen King books.Recently I got some free books on my Kindle that were good,"The Other Daughter",by Mira Lee Rerrell. That was a really great story. And,"Married by Mistake" by Abby Gaines is a Harlequin book.

Mark Haddon is a great comic and observational writer, I would recommend his books. I'm currently reading we need to talk about kevin by lionel shriver, which is gripping and extremely well written. I also like stephen king and I have read all of the Harry Potter series. I have yet to purchase her latest title the casual vacancy. I like checking out new authors and I will definately chack out the other daughter, and married by mistake. :)

I have had that experience too. I did it a lot years ago, when my eyes were better. I have burned food, left house unclean, you name it. I have tried to mend my ways along the years but now I don`t read so much but use the computer more.

I suppose that I`d read more, in spite of my eyes, if there weren`t other passtimes. I don`t think I`m able to read very profound bookks anymore and light stories can be seen on movies and TV too.

I enjoy audio books as well. Therefore if I'm busy then I can listen to a book while I am doing other things. It still takes time to sit down to the computer.I do a few things,I read off and online.

I love to read books also! My husband can't see how I can just sit there and read until I finish reading the book. He will ask me a question or want me to do something for him. Usually I'll answer or do whatever he needs me to do quickly, but when I'm engrossed in a book, forgett it! I'll get it done when I'm done reading. He says I'm a speed reader, I don't think so I just read because I enjoy it and if it's real interesting, I can't put it down! I don't often read in bed, because I find myself falling asleep. For me reading is so relaxing! Happy reading!

I wouldn't say that I am addicted to books, but I do like them. I think that more people should be making an effort to read, because there are far too many people who just don't bother to do this. I like to read whenever I get the time, and there is nothing that I love more than getting the news that one of my appointments has been cancelled because this then means that I have an extra hour or so to be able to read my book which I didn't think that I was going to get. My partner doesn't read at all, and I actually feel sorry for him because of this.

I like reading a lot. I always bring a book with me in my bag whenever I go out of the house to ease boredom in traffics, longlines in supermarkets. Always, when I start a book to read, I can't get enough of it and I always want it to finish right away. :)

I can also get lost in a good book. Sometimes I even sleep late at night just to finish the book that I am reading. If it is a series, I might try my best to finish it all as long as my eyes can take it, usually at night so there will be very little or no disturbances. I installed the Kindle app in my iPad and iPod touch so I can catch up on my reading wherever I am and if there is an opportunity to do so.

I started to read when I was in primary school and it continues until now. During those days, I was really addicted to read novel books. In one sitting, I can have 2 to 3 books. Now, the passion changed since there are a lot of things that makes my life busy with. Though I still read a chapter of books before taking a nap, it is better than nothing.
