My nephew just had his vaccinations this morning. Dose of Penta, a combination of Hepatitis B, Diphtheria, Pertussis, Tetanus vaccine was given. Oral Polio Vaccine was also administered. Another dose of Rotavirus vaccine will also be given. Along with PCV or pneumococcal vaccine. Early vaccinations of babies are part of the governments program to reduce the risk of morbidity and mortality of kids in the country. Though baby Tristan has his own pediatrician.

It is nice to see that your family is following the advice of the doctor and the immunization programme is properly being followed. In our country, there are still many even among the educated people who do not bother for the immunization programme to be followed for their babies. So all these diseases which can be prevented or at least checked are still rampant in our country. I think the government of India should make it compulsory for all babies.

It is a compulsory in our country. Your government should provide free vaccinations to all babies. That is how our government provides each and every child a vaccine.
