Grandpa is in the hospital

These past week I didn't become active here in mylot because my granpa is admitted at the hospital. He is 90 years old and has been a bedridden since 2010. We took him here at the hospital because he was ill for the past weeks. My grandpa was so weak to eat his meals. Since I'm his caregiver, I was so worried about his health. when we run to the hospital, the doctor said that he might insert an NGT for him to be fed. So that was it, he was inserted until now. We took him here at the hospital last Sunday and until now we are still here. Now we are still here at the ICU and yesterday he was operated for Tracheostomy because he breaths very hard and need to have a ventilator for him to survive. Now he is on his recovering state and he breaths normally using a tube inserted in his throat.
I'm just praying to the Lord to still guide my grandpa that he will still with us for some remaining years.

I hope he gets well real soon. I had a grandpa with same problems a few years back. He was 98. Make sure you stay by his side, and tell him you love him.

It's really hard to see our loved one suffering most especially our grandparents whom we have a very special spot in our hearts. I hope he recovers soon. I will pray for him.

I'm sorry to know that your grandpa is in the hosipital, if the God know your love to your grandpa I believe he will help you to realise your wish. Wish everything goes well with you and your family my friend.

It must be very painful seeing your grandpa really sick. I am also a healthcare provider and I know how hard it is in the hospital especially if you are in the ICU. It only means that your condition is more critical than those who are located on wards. It requires alertness and really a bunch of care. Especially, you've mentioned he has to be inserted an NGt for feeding and even gone through operation for breathing. I remember one time when we had this patient who is also on a tracheostomy tube. I saw how his family suffers for him. If only they will be the one to suffer for their dad it jus't can't be possible. As his primary provider, it might be so hard for you. Not that he needs special attention because of his condition but emotionally, it hurts to see your family member suffering.keep on praying and strenghten thy faith. He is watching over you and He is taking care of your grandpa. Right now, your grandpa need not only your physical help but also your emotional support. Stay strong for your grandpa and I am hoping as well He will recover soon.
