I think in terms of popularity it will goes to Samsung cause they are very active in producing smart phones where they have many model come out every month. But in terms of mostly used, I think it will goes to Nokia cause not all people use smart phone and there are a lot of people that don't know how to use smart phone in the world till now cause smart phone is just new to the market.

Oh really? But in my place, I see still many people using Nokia. I myself have 2 Nokia phone. Almost all of my family use Nokia phones. Even my relative still using Nokia phone. Maybe different country will use different type of phone and maybe it's depends on the importer company who decide which phone they want to sell in certain places.

I would disagree with you challs. Nokia has fallen into the abyss because of the sudden outburst of affordable smartphones available and their failure to catch up with the continuous changes in the market.
Here in the Philippines, you would rarely see someone using a Nokia phone. Most are Samsung or iPhone.

I guess that's true. May I ask what kind of Nokia phones do you have? And why do you prefer Nokia over other brands of cellular phones?

I had seen that most of them around me using Samsung mobile phones. They has turned out as the number one branded phone after fall of Nokia phones. The new arrival of android feature really made Samsung products hit, which made the people to get them.

it's true because here in my country 80% of cheap and fake phone are Samsung. This company is becoming a celebrity in the industry of phone.

I agree! There are a lot of Samsung china phones being imitated here in my country. And that proves that Samsung is really popular nowadays. :)

That is because Samsung offers all the capabilities of a smartphone in more affordable prices. Not to mention that their designs are spectacular.
I am happy that iPhone is not the most popular. Finally consumers have realized that you can only do so much with an iPhone. Android phones are better and cheaper.

I have two Samsung phone and they are good used, I like using this brand, it is high quality and inexpensive.

Worldwide I could see that however in the states it seems like everyone goes nuts over iphones. When ever a new iphone comes out you see people lining up for hours like a bunch of nuts. I have never seen anyone line up for the new Droid. I had a Samsung phone a few years ago. It was alright but I must say I really like my iphone. I'm not into computers and I like to keep things simple. The iphone for me is very user friendly and I love how it syncs for itunes but I'm sure it isn't for everybody.

No doubt iPhone was much more better. But only few people have the capacity to buy for it. Especially the rich ones. :)

I have the Samsung Galaxy S3, which is quite popular right now. I have had the Samsung Fascinate, the Samsung Galxy S2 and now the S3. Every phone has ben sturdy, and holds up to being dropped or falling off the computer table. they have all held up, and still worked afterwards. I try not to let it happen, but sometimes, I accidentally bump my phone, and it falls on the floor. I really do enjoy my smartphone though, as I can do a lot with it, even post in here. Samsung phones are really cheap compared to LG.Samsung is really popular among students in India,because its the only branded smart phone that comes witin 10000 Inr.By the way our per capita income is only 280000.

Here in the Philippines, most people who cannot afford to buy an iPhone or a Blackberry, prefer buying Samsung mobile phones. Because it's a lot more cheaper. But asides from that, it's also durable! :)

Yeah I am agree with you. iPhones are also the most popular phones. It covers 75% portion of the heart of iphone lovers. ust try iPhone5 then think beyond.
