do you mix used cooking with new or unused cooking oil?

I just did, just now. I opened a bottle of cooking oil and used it to fry something. After cooking and the oil is now cool, I poured it back to its container. I only used it once so it could not be that bad. I could not find any container in which to put the oil I have used for the first time. Have you done this before?

No, I don't. Usually, if it's used, I would separate it to the new one. To better determine first what to use first when you will cook again. I guess it's not good to turn back the used one with the unused one.It may have some reesiudes or some flavors which isn't that good when mixed with unused ones... WHat do you say?

Yeah, I know. I shouldn't do it again. It's just that I couldn't find the container for used oil, that's why.

Hahah, if it's not that dirty and just a small amount of oil, I guess it's still okay. But most probably, it is really not! you know that!

Thanks a ton for posting this discussion. Well i do not think u should have used the same cooking oil again by pouring it in a container. I know it is hard for every homemaker to throw the oil that is left out looking at the oil prices these days but i think it is not safe as far as our health is concerned. We need to use required amount of oil while cooking so that very less oil is left out at the end and we can throw them without any regrets. What say?

Hi Sub. This topic is entirely different because it is asking whether you mix used cooking oil with new or unused one. My other discussion is asking how many times you recycle or reuse cooking oil.
