I have indeed heard that it is more fun in the Philippines. It is close to the top of my travel wish list for the future. My disabled son is in a wheelchair so I want to go there before he gets too heavy to carry. I love going to tropical countries where I can see palm trees. I am very keen on island hopping and snorkeling. I adore going to different countries and if I go to the Philippines it might move to the top of my favorites list. I have read about the Philippines and liked what I found out. I would fly into Cebu rather than Manila because it is nearer to the islands I wish to visit. I am keen to visit the Chocolate Hills very much indeed.

As a Filipino, I really agree that our country is such a wonderful place to live in and to visit for foreigners. However, honestly speaking, I am also aware that not only our country is fun to be in or to explore because I believe that each country in this world has their own wonderful and bad sides. Lastly, let's all be thankful to GOD that we're fortunate to have a country with a lot of natural resources and sceneries.

Surely there are a lot of great places in our country. I have been traveling in our country for quite a time and I know that surely it is fun. The only problem perhaps is safety as there are indeed places that we should be careful with. But overall, our country has so many natural wonders and there are even those that are not develop yet worthy of being a tourist attraction. I have been to the underground river in Palawan, Mt Mayon in Bicol, Mt. Apo in Kidapawan, The springs in Camiguin, the enchanted river in Surigao, all of them are worth the visit. Truly our country is blessed with beauties only nature can give and I hope that one day, there will be peace in all areas so that we can surely be proud and people from different countries will not hesitate to visit us.

It all depends on the interest of the traveler. I was once a tour guide in our country and Philippines is very rich with the natural resources, history and culture. However, I can not promote it due to safety issues. In fact just last week, I was in a business trip in Europe with the Ministry of Tourism of the country where I currently live promoting this country. Sad to say that I could not do it for my own country for many reasons.
