Hi guys! Since I was a kid, chicken is really my favorite, in any way or any part of it was delicious to me. It gives me the appetite where I can eat a bulk of rice. It really encourage me to eat more. I love it fried but then one day, after eating my favorite viand which is chicken, something sprouted on my skin. They are red and itchy. Oh! it's an allergic reaction. Can somebody tell me how can I be healed with this? Thanks.

Since you have taken chicken I do not think your allergy reaction is relate to it. You may get in touch with a specialist for expert opinion. Chicken is considered to be far better than red meat.So go ahead & happy eating.

Dear Natzumi! From your discussion it looks that chicken is nothing new for you and you have been eating it since a long time. If there is any allergic manifestation then you should look for some other things which might have caused allergy in you. If this thing gets repeated every to time you consume chicken then only you can attribute this allergy to the chicken consumption. Well you can visit a specialist dealing in allergy where he can pin point the cause of your allergy and recommend you some treatment and correction in your eating style. Well though the chance of allergy from Chicken seems to be remote but chances can't be ruled out. As my late father used to suffer from rashes whenever he used t have farm grown chicken. He never suffered from allergy with the Chicken which was naturally raised. I think it is the feed that is given to the Chicken that must have made the difference. In poultry farms the farmers feed readymade feed in which they add preservatives, growth promoters and antibiotics some times to keep up the quality of the feed. These chemicals can get entry into the body of the chicken. When such chicken is consumed we are taking these chemicals inside our body and thy can cause allergy to us. Well this thing can only be ascertained by an expert who deals in allergy, All the best! I liked participating in discussion! Thanks!

How come you know it is the chicken that gives you the allergy. As you have wrote here, you are eating chicken since you were a kid, and only now that you have experienced this allergic reaction. I don't think it is the chicken that gives you this- maybe you need to visit a doctor to confirm the reason for having those red rashes.

I will say as a child chicken was one of the cheapest meats that could be bought, so we use to eat lots of it. They do say that chicken is really good for you, rather than red meat, but to be honest, I do prefer red meat to white meat.

Well. It is odd that someone have allergy in chickens. I probably heard it for the first time. If you have other allergy problem then you should first think about that. If not wait for sometime and see if it gets well. If not than you should visit a doctor. And don't eat any more chickens before sorting out the problem.
