I have hundreds of Cds, movies, children cd's, educational Cd's and many more. I know i can just throw it away but when its in a big amount i felt that maybe i could make it more useful. Yes, i have given some to relatives and friends and i still have hundreds of it. I dont need it anymore because i can view it over and over again in the Youtube. Not to mention the space it have occupied in my home. Anyone have a good suggestion for me? Thanking you.

since cds are plastic you can just hand them over to be recycled. on the other hand you can also search the internet on ways to recycle them, there are lots of sites and ways. i know cause I jst saw a couple a few weeks ago but I forgot the name of these sites (anyway, mylot doesn't allow posting of website links) a few of these ideas? wreaths for christmas, reflectors, bowls etc.

What me and my husband do with our old cd's is sell them to the used stores that would take them. If you don't have one you can always as friends and family if they want a certain cd's that you have it's okay for them to have them for free since you have no need or want for them.

Hi Shybear, thanks for the response. I did both sold the originals at the used stores and gave away to friends and family. Whats left are the pirated ones, those days pirated cds were abundance and so cheap well not that cheap but cheaper. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Sell them to the used CD store, they may pay few pennies for a good CD, or if you are not interested in making little bit of money from the store, you can donate them to the school, recycle center or community center in your area.

Hi mimiang, that sounds like a good idea but garage sale is not very popular here, maybe i can put it in the flea market and share the commision

Hi friend, good to know you have lot of CD's and interested in giving it to others, as you mentioned you already provide some CD's to your friends, relations. Give the remaining CD's to some charity or educational trust, where other people will use your CD and get benefits from them. Lot of educational trust or available in this world, hope some are available in your place too.

Try to sell them online like in Ebay. Remember, a trash to one person can be a gold to another person. If you will sell them together or in bulk, it will be easier to be sold than one by one. Those CD collections of yours is a good catch especially if you will sell them in a very low price. Or you can also sell them offline, you may open a garage sale in your place, or if you have a friend who has a store, then you can ask him to add your CDs in his/her items for sale. Good luck and good day!

Hi harold, I like the idea to sell it but m worry for the copy rights, the cds are pirated version. I wonder if I can get away with it if I sell it online.

maybe you can donate them to others who may want and need it. or maybe sell it at a lower cost. collectors out there may be interested to buy it from you or some others need those educational or children's cd. yes, it would be a regret to throw those, better give, sell, or donate it to others who like it, find it useful, and would enjoy it more.

Hi, jadoixa, today i look through my cds collection and would separate the educational and children cds, and you have given me idea that perhaps i could donate it to Pre-schools, i am sure they are happy to accept it

You could put some up on donation, especially the childrens' ones, some families may be really glad for it. Or you could sell them on ebay or sites like that... so that you could earn money with them, too. Or offer them to libraries for free (well, at least in my country, libraries have multimedia stuff to borrow, too).

Hello, I think the best would be to sell them if you want money. Or just give them away to people who needs them Happy mylotting!
