There is a problem with my computer's internet, whenever at set times during the day, every day, I lose internet connection. If I just wait for 10 minutes though, it fixes itself. My brother's computer has the same problem. We are both connected to the same network so I am 90% sure it has to do with the network, no the computer. I read a bunch of forums and they all said that it had to do with some Bonjour program thing, but my computer doesn't have it. I tried changing my IP address, but that didn't work either. I got someone from my network provider to come fix it, and it worked for a week. Then after that the same thing happens. It is not something super bad, but it is so annoying, and if anyone could fix it it would be great.

Hello billybobjoey, what do you mean whenever at set times during the day? Is it mean at certain time, the connection will cut, is it? Say for example at 8 pm, the internet connection will cut, and then after a few minutes, the internet connected back. Does the exact time everyday it happen? Or is it not fixed? How long usually it happen after you start surf the internet?

Yes, each day at the same times each day the computer doesn't work. However what is weird is once I decided not to use the computer during that time but after a few hours of that time. But within minutes of using the computer I lost connection. It is very strange and I am sure that it has to do with network however if the guy I asked didn't fix it I don't think it will be easy to.

If the connection always cut at the same time everyday, that means the problem is come from your internet service provider. Nothing you can do at your side, you must call your internet service provider to solve the problem. You can call their operator and talk to them and tell them about this problem. They usually have your log in/off record in their system. If you got disconnected at any time, they will see it in their system and they will instruct you or tell you what to do or the reason why it was always disconnected.

Hi, Yeps, it looks like the ISP may be at fault. Some ISP share the bandwith with other users and if too much load goes in that line it slows down or ultimately comes to a standstill. You should consult your provider and if the problem persists, maybe its time to switch to faster connections if you don't have a locked in contract.
