Can you imagine sacrificing the health for the sake of luxury?

Have you ever encountered people who are spending much for the luxury while he doesn’t care for the health and other basic necessities in life? Example you have heard or seen a person who has lots of signature bags, shoes and other more materials while they are just eating instant food in daily basis like canned goods, instant noodles or other meals that has lack nutrients then it came to the point that his children are suffering from sickness already? I haven’t encountered one, though I’ve read some horrible stories on how they are prioritizing the luxuries. Even her children at very young age are being particular of having signature clothes or branded bags then the parents are teaching kids on how to ask money from other people just to buy those luxuries. The mother even borrowed money from other people just to have a luxurious party for her kid who will celebrate the 7th birthday to the point that she is finding hard to pay for her loan. But then as she prioritizes for the luxuries it came to the point that she is sacrificing the daily needs especially for the food that they are eating to the extent that kids are being sick. Sounds like bragging is her priority in life no matter if others or she herself is already suffering to her life. I think that is a lesson that we are not suppose to be boastful and showing off much to other people just to impress them. That is also a lesson why we are not supposed to be arrogant to the extent that we are bragging about ourselves then we are putting down others or making themselves less as a person. Chances are people will expect too much from us then you will value your own reputation rather than being practical on how to give importance of the moral values that can teach your children. It will come to a point that all you think is how to brag rather than how you are going to save the lives of your children or even your life.

I live in Germany. There may be people like this here, too. I don't know any. My interest in luxury is next to nothing. I wouldn't even recognise a luxury item.

I think those are the ones who work very hard in the office. When you need to work till 10 pm every night, it is less likely for you to go out to have dinner, and travel back to work. you are more likely to buy instant noodle, and just add water into it.

There is a beauty vlogger, who always eats junk food, so she doesn't really care about eating properly, yet she could even afford the best quality luxury healthy food, too. But she's rather spend thousands of dollars in two weeks on clothing and buy 3 Louis Vuitton handbags in a year rather than spend them on proper things (she doesn't even read books or go to theatre or anything). Also, I know people who are so snobbish that they bought a sofa and a little drawer from a top-notch furniture designer which doesn't even match their room, just to tell that they're that stylish and rich and spend loads of money on luxury things, too, but all their towels are torn and overused, because they just don't care to buy new ones.

These people will pay for their decisions later in life. Hopefully through the education system their children will learn and make better decisions for themselves later in life. A close friend of mine almost eats nothing but black beans because they're inexpensive and he's saving up for various material items. Granted black beans are relatively healthy but when that is all you're eating it becomes somewhat unhealthy.

Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?

Hi! It is rather wise to spend all my money on healthy food, vitamins and checkups from my doctor than spend it on luxuries. If I am healthy I can do more for my family and community instead of just running around wearing fancy clothes but my body is suffering. It is wise to invest on health.

Oh yeah! I know some people that lives that way. And they think they are cool boasting on those luxurious things but in reality, gosh! They do not have anything under their name! I do not see the point of why they would want to overshadow a real "legitimate" rich friend who has good means of living. Really? I think that it is the worst kind of person on earth to be living in a cloud of pretensions!

I met people who are doing who are fond of buying signature items as to the extent that they borrowed money from other people and loans from different lending institutions. However, I haven't had any glimpse as to the way they eat. We may just presume.

I heard of a lady who want to get a LV bag just to eat one meal a day, that's really terrible, anyway I think health is the first important thing.

It's really surprising to learn that some people have their priorities twisted the other way around. They say these things can bring them happiness, but when they think deep into it, wouldn't it be better to be healthy so one can work hard slowly for those things she wants in life? What would be the use of these material stuff if she wouldn't be healthy long enough to enjoy them? And I don't think it would her less of a person if she wouldn't get to use designer items. I have never met someone like that, but I do know some people who would go in debt up to their eyeballs just so they can get themselves top of the line gadgets and signature clothes and bags. For me, it's just not worth it.

I guess, health is far more better than living in a luxurious life. As they said, health is wealth.
