If I'm alone at home, I will never watch a horror movie. I'll be too scared even though I love horror movies but I will never watch them alone at home. When I'm alone, I will watch comedy or drama. But if you're brave to watch a horror movie alone, I would suggest Insidious or The Awakening. These two are psychological horror movies with very little gore. I will also suggest watching Case 39 which is quite horrifying considering that it's about an evil child.

Haha, Thank you for sharing i will search for Case 39, seems interesting. from the title itself I can say that its more of a true to life drama, mystery type movie is it????

Case 39 isn't a true life drama. It's about a social worker played by Renee Zellweger (I hope I get the spelling correct) who tries to save a child from her abusive parents. What happened after the child is saved reveals the reason why the parents try to kill the child. I don't want to tell too much because it will spoil your viewing of this movie if you decide to watch it.

My favorite marathon movies to watch during Halloween is:Friday the 13th, Halloween, last night I watched Children of The Corn. I like the Scream movies. I also watch a lot of the old classic black and white horror movies. If you really want to get "wigged out" watch The Grudge or The Ring. I never watch comedies, don't like them. I think they're stupid not funny. Good luck with your decision.

LOLs you really dont want comedy? anyway thanks for your suggestion. scream movies are good i like them too. and friday the 13th. children of the corn havent heard of that till now, thanks. I will definitely not watch grudge or the ring although i dont really belive in ghosts. I might watch it if i have somebady to talk to even if he/she is afraid. can you watch those movies alone?? even at night?

Yeah, I watch horror movies all the time when I'm alone. I go to sleep watching them. I can't sleep without the t.v. on, so I put in a movie I like and go right to sleep. Children of the Corn is a good scary series of movies. Stephen King wrote the original. I go to sleep watching Rose Red or The Stand (both are Stephen King movies). As far as comedies, no I do not like them. There has been a couple that I like all right. Weekend at Bernies, the two Scooby Doo movies are pretty much it as far as comedies. Have a good, spooky Halloween.

Go for it, we usually do a Halloween series marathon but my movies are still packed away need to order the rest of the shelves so we can get them all up and put in ABC order. We ended up watching Scooby Doo with the kids, at least until I fell asleep.

I saw Love at First Bite and Dark Shadows. It was a great double feature. The first is a spoof of Dracula and the second one is a creepy black comedy/horror film.

I love to watch Rob Zombie movies they are really cheesey and have some horrible special effects but they really show the deprived side of humans. I would also recommend any of the friday the 13ths and any of the original Halloweens. Those movies freaked me out when I was a kid and they still do even now. I know whats going to happen but when Jason or Michael jump out to kill them it makes me jump too. The other movie that I will be watching tonight is Beetlejuice. Its funny and a great classic movie. Hope that you have a good night home alone and that the ghouls and ghosts dont get you lol.
