'Nothing is original in this world says a philosopher, everything is inspired and adulterated.' How would you define an original thought? anything anyone can ever think of has already been thought by someone else or will be done so by someone in the future..

An original thought would be one that comes straight from a person and one that isn't copied by this person from another. Someone with original thought is one that thinks for themselves and that doesn't copy others or find other peoples thought and use them.

well, should I say that whatever we think is original thought because we are the one who makes our thought? Well, in originality, it is true that there are incidents that an idea can be the same with the different people that is why there are some registration for the idea or invention that have been done. It is just a matter of being the first. Anyway, if it is regarding about life, being original is being myself. Myself creates originality and do not want to copy others.

I believe people can still come up with an original thought.. As the years go by the way of living has been altered; our way of thinking has changed too.. Priorties and responsiblities are different then they were 100 years ago.. We are all living longer, thus expersing more in life itself.. Seeing the wide unknown, going deeper into the ocean, discovering more of the rain forest.. Look at todays techology.. Concerding less then a 100 years ago there was no electrical outlet to plug some thing in.. No car to get from point a to point b.. Everyone has an imgaination; thoughts, ideas, own way of life, experinces, problems, and countless other things.. There are so many variables that its impossible.. At least at this time.. Who knows what might come in the future...

What do you mean by adulterated? Do you mean wrong or copied? Is it possible to tell Newtons laws of motion are adulterated i.e. wrong or copied? If all the thoughts would be wrong then would we be able to lead happy life? Would our knowledge technolgy or machine work?

I think that this is a very good question. People can list names all they want about great thinkers having original thought - that would not be very original. I would say that there is no original thought - ever thought we make is influenced by a previous thought or a current problem. Now.... If you said that the solution was not original, then I would disagree with you. Newton deducing that the apple falling on his nogging was due to something called gravity is an original solution, not an original thought - the thought has been influenced by the Apple bouncing off his head
