Hey there Though it is nice that you wanna learn Programming via C++ but may I ask you why do you need to master that particular language? Yes, I have been a teacher since past 16 years here and I have found that C++ is for learners who are stepping into programming - it is a too competitive a subject to make a great career. So I guess maybe it is just some educational need or the fact that you want to get started into programming. For Application Development on Windows platform, it is preferable to use .Net though. Anyways, let me know what you need for the C++! Maybe a few books and a LINUX based Operating system would help you a big way. I say Linux as it is Free and the C++ there comes pre-bundled or even can be downloaded for free. So No Piracy or anything, it would be completely Legit.

I have started learning c++ in school and i find it quite interesting. But its quite challenging, so i think of finding someone to teach me step by step to master this language. Its purely for educational purpose and i am just trying to find some fun through programming. And what is the linux used for in c++? Through what i know, isn't linux just an operating system?

Right, so my guess was near correct - the school or curriculum thing! The better part here is that you are finding it interesting which is definitely a great step ahead. As for Linux, yes, it is an operating system - and you get better distributions from Ubuntu or Fedora (their latest version #18 is due in a few days from now). These operating systems come with many languages pre-installed and the others if needed can be mostly downloaded and installed for free (like the C++ or even Java) - this free thing is somewhat like in your Windows which comes with Ms. Paint, o even Wordpad or Notepad (though widows doesnt ship any Computer Programming Languages with it). I will try to find some website for you to start learning C++ and if needed, extend myself to you for any help you might need in understanding any concept (via PMs here at MyLot). Hope that will be fine with you

I got a book and if I had the software i could have been an expert by now. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.
