But serving in prison might be the best chance for him to rethink his ways. All of that was done because of Drug influence. This is confession of a Tricycle Driver who was responsible for killing a UST Alumna. though he admitted killing, he claims that his brother was innocent. what a sad part. because of drugs a life was taken by his hand, he made his simple life complicated. this drug problem should really be taken out of the society before it destroys more lives.

I saw this news and really felt bad. What a waste of life of an innocent and intelligent person. No matter how the killer realized his mistake- it's useless.

That deed is hard to forgive. As a mother, I don't think I could also forgive

Hello mimian, who wouldn't? the hate is there and pain is fresh, it's gonna take a while for some one to accept some thing like that. they will hate the person for the rest of their lives. no one deserves to die like that, after all the hard work you put through just to get killed simply because you don't wanna to get raped? that's awful.

That is one thing that really ruins the life of our people. Why do people waste their time spending on these when they know that it is expensive to buy them and it really doesn't solve the problems they are trying to escape from?

Imprisonment may or may not rehabilitate a criminal from his ways. A change of heart, conviction and values is necessary for a real transformation of the spirit to take place. However, I am confident that despite human effort to rehabilitate, God in His power can work and transform criminals and guide them to thread a virtuous life towards perfection and holiness. Paul, the head minister of the early Church, prior to his conversion to Christianity, was a prosecutor and murderer of early Christians. Despite this fact, God was merciful and understanding of Paul's situation and lack of faith. When Paul was brought into the fold, the early Christians readily forgave Paul. They accepted him as a brother in faith. I firmly believe that such forgiveness emanated from their faith and brotherly love among themselves and towards their fellowmen in obedience to the true Gospel of Christ.

Hello Jer616, He would definitely be needing a lot of religious consultation in the cell for the time being. am sure that will help him ease his depression knowing that he will stay there for a long long time. am sure you might have time to visit him and teach him the word of lord, hope you give us some news about him.
