Is life a name for living for others or living for yourself?

i m 21 and i realized that life is name for living for others, parents live life for their childrens and every person live for other? whats your opinion regarding that?

It really depends on the person. I live for others, to help and please them all the time. I am a mother and a wife so I give myself all the time...
But there are some people I know who ONLY care about themselves and their own happiness. Sad but true.
So, I think it definitely depends on the person. Some people live for others but some do live for themselves...

Yeah! I consider life as living fr other people. Because we don't life just only for the sake of our selves, but also for the sake other people that we really treasure. :)

I think a life is fulfilled if we live it both for ourselves and for those who are close to us.We all have dreams we want to achieve to feel that we haven't lived in vain,and we struggle to make them reality,and if we don't succeed we do our best to help our children or other people close to us reach their goals and make their dreams.We definitely can't be selfish unless we are alone,we live for others and at the same time we live for ourselves.

Life is beautiful when we can enjoy doing useful and meaningful. When we can share the good things to the others that is mean we do the good things for ourselves as well.

I live for myself nowadays. I have learnt that no matter how hard you try to live for other people and try to please them, they will never be content and will always be critical. As for children I do not believe that parents should live just for the sake of their children, life is unique and we each have to live our own lives. If we live for others, we will have regrets later on.

I would say life is living for self, but we all end up living for some one else some day because of relationships that we create with other people every day and it is not just family.

Life is not only a day! Give some time for yourself of course. You don't need to choice. I think we make life too complicated. Why are we created? We are just here... yeah that's how nature works. We shouldn't ask what is life and who shall we give it. We make our own goals!
