a lot is encouraged by experts that parents should share meals with their children. in lagos where i come from, when families are packed together to share one or two rooms with their children, shared meals are a rarity; because the space for it does not exist, but they have replaced shared meals with shared worship or spiritual times. how is it where you come from? do families prefer shared meals or shared spiritual times together?

We have shared meals in the family and it is our tradition. Ours is quite a different eating habit from that of the western world. I also like the western eating habit. If I were there, I would also do as the Romans do. Thanks for the discussion. Take care.

the same applies in my country. shared meals are uncommon where i come from, but shared religious moments i think are replacement and adequate or equivalent substitutes.
