Yes, I gave an extra tips for waiters or waiters. I am base on there service. I gave only a little like cents in peso. I have experience that as a waiter and now I am working as kitchen crew or service crew. They work hard for taking care of customers. If I have more money or becoming millionaire, I will give a high of P100 or sometimes P1,000 in peso. How about you? Do you gave tips to them?

hi, if I am happy with their service, I give extra tips. It's my way to say thank you for their good service. I think you are a generous person because you want to give more if only you could.

Yeah. That is true. You make them good and you have a pleasure. Saying "Thank you" is a positive word.

I always eat in a fast food chain and not in a fine dining restaurant or to those restaurants which is very cozy. I am not that kind of person who usually give tips to the waiter or waitresses. But if I have a lot of money, I will not be hesitant to share my blessings with them as their reward.

My danger and sweet hubby not like to go in hotel but I goes with family members but no special extra tip for waiters. But I notice in some hotel waiter is not provide good service stand at one side and talk to each other. Waiters should pay attention on their customer.

I always tip well. I know that the job they have is hard. And most waiters and waitresses rely on tips.

I give tips based on the services they have rendered, just like you. But if my memory serves me right, the highest tip I have given a waiter was 100php.

For me, I will tip accordingly. There are some establishments that does not encourage tipping especially when their bills charges a service charge or they specifically mentions it on their bills or premises. It is good to tip and I usually would not hesitate when good service is being rendered and amount usually would not go beyond 10 percent of the final bill. To me, such an act would encourage and motivate the relevant staff to continue with their commitment to excellence in their work. It is really not easy to treat a customer as an individual from a crowd and such efforts should never go unnoticed and unrewarded. However, tips are never an entitlement but a privilege. I just do not like to see it when it is being demanded distastefully in certain guided holiday trips I had experienced.

I usually give a tip based on the service. If its good, then a good tip. If its bad, well, I hope they get a lot more tables to make up for what they got from me. I give the standard 15% but I think its important that if you have a large group of friends that you give more because its hard to take care of a lot of people. I've never waited tables, its not something I think I could do. I've seen how rude people can be and I would only last a day because I would be telling people that they don't need to be rude. I did see a waiter tell a girl one time that she could do better because the guy was being rude to the waiter, it was pretty funny because for a second she started to think about what kind of relationship she was in.

I used to work as a server. I worked as one off and on for more than 10 years, so yes, I give them extra tips. I also give extra tips to my Cab drivers. When you work in a business that is based on tips, you need as much as you can get. I'm notorious for over-tipping.

Depending on the quality or kind of service. There are fast food eateries where the service crews are prohibited from receiving tips. But generally in a restaurant where everything is served and the waiter is very attentive to our needs we leave an amount in the table as an appreciation of his good service.

I do give tips when dining out. It is not that much but at least I could give something. I think in other countries, the tip should be 10 or 15 % of the value paid by the customer. But some restaurants do incur service charge in our tab. So, with that being said, I would not be giving out tip. but if I have a great day, I would.

I carry a bag of rubbish with me when I go to a restaurant so I can leave a tip. Oops, anyone know anything about shortening noses?

I've read that the right amount of tip is 10%-12% of amount billed. But, it's totally optional, especially that most restaurants already include a service charge on your bill. We always check for that, and if we see that there is none, we would leave some tip.

For me, that depends on the service they render. There are some waitress or waiters who can't get there jobs done accordingly, and are very disrespectful. But if me as a customer can be satisfied with their service, tips are a sure thing

Yes, I leave tips. I have been a waitress. Mostly they rely on their tips to make a decent wage. I do not over do it, but I certainly want them to know I appreciate them.

Yes, I normally give out tips to waiters after eating. I know that they are doing their best and regardless, it is somewhat customary to give out even just a little. Even when I check in on a hotel, I usually give out tips to room attendants. It has become a habit and it is also one way of showing my appreciation.

Yes, it's customary where I live, so almost everyone does. And since I know what hard work waitressing can be, I try to tip really well too. I guess it is different for those who live in countries where tipping is not customary, but where I live, tips are a big part of the income for many waiters and waitresses, so I would feel bad if I didn't.

It totally depends on the waiter/waitress. If they're awesome and friendly then yes. The wait staff really don't make enough money, help them out!
