Have you experienced earning or getting something by some stroke of good luck? :)
I have always dreamed of buying a high-end DSLR camera. Though my job is high-paying, it seems that I never seem to have the money to buy one because I give financial support to my mom and I also finance the education of my brother.
However, one of my clients offered to give me a Nikon DSLR camera as payment for my professional services. What a pleasant surprise!! This is waaaaaaay better than cash. :D
Any similar stories, fellow myLotters? :)

Nikon DSLR's are the bomb! Oh well, I'm just biased of my own, lol! That's good for you, you're so lucky. I haven't received that kind of "appreciation" from work lately, but about 4 years ago when we reached our target, the whole department was treated by our boss to an all-expense paid trip to hong kong with pocket money! That's just about it, I do hope that I'll get lucky again in the future. :)

Thats great. I had the same kind a thing here happen to me. i own an internet cafe where i rent out computer time and sell coffee. I never could afford a copy machine. One day a good client said shed give me one if I let her come and use computers when ever she wanted to. I said sure. She has been coming once or twice a week is all for like a year. I make 10.00 a week off her copy machine. it was a great deal for both of us. take care there.

It is a wonderful surprise for such a camera. Just now my wife was talking to me about getting one such camera, but I don't think that we can get one so soon because we are now financially intense this year. It is a very expensive kind of camera. I wish you to enjoy your pleasant surprise. Take care.
