Portico should be in the North-East and its height should be less than that of the main roof. A pit or underground tank in south is also very harmful for finance. Certain pictures of god goddess and proper placement of mirrors brings financial gains in the house. Money and valuables should be kept in an ‘Almirah’(safe) facing north. [b]I have portico in my house; its height is less than main roof. I don’t have underground tank or pit; but one water tank on roof top. I have pictures of Gods and Goddesses on main room, mirror is placed on the wall, in front of main door; so anyone entering sees his/her image. Jewelry, cash, gold etc. is kept in a safe (we call it treasury) that we have since 1904.
