Google Adsense users please help!!

I started Google Adsense last month or thereabouts. I had 2.89 the first day and since then have dropped to 2 cents. In other words, I have nothing. How can this be? I don't have other sites connected to adsense. Here are my questions and I do hope you answer. 1 Does this site report earnings once a month? 2 The statement states at the beginning $6.79 and I have 2 cents. Am I doing something wrong? 3 Do I have to add something? 4 Will I get adsense for all adsense sites or just the two cents? Please help me if you can. Thanks.
