Hi there. The stars that you can see above your name is your rating. I think it will go high depends upon how good your answers are and how active you are in mylot. I think it is like a reputation in mylot.

And I think it is our fellow mylotters who rate our post and discussion as well as the administration.

Indeed ONLY fellow Lotters are responsable for our star. MyLot have nothing to do with it at all. The explanation is in the FAQs: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq11.aspx and in this useful topic too: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2639481.aspx

Oh I see, Thanks for the answers. I thought its about the time you allot here. That we are rated on how long we are here since we join and on how many times we made a post.

The Stars are the reputation of the writers. And I think that the numbers that you have asked about indicates the number of postings done by a writer. It is a good way to measure the quality of the posts by the fellow Mylottians.

hi there xhanne... You will need a user rating of 100 before you are able to receive a reputation. The number beside your name xhanne (14) is your user rating. When it reaches (100), you will receive your reputation, which is the star. If you just opened the link that mysDianait commented above, you will find the answer on all of your questions. It is important to read the FAQs and the mylot guidelines. They will guide you all through the do's and don'ts here. Welcome!
