I prefer to choose city because city can make you go around especially the streets, malls and buildings. You can to the beach near the cities. In the village, it is so boring where more sand and trees. The signals of cellphone is slow or sometimes no signal at all. How about you?

If I have money, I will be living in a village...villages now a days is often crowded by wealthy individuals... the villages that we know before which is so dark and very silent is already being changed by this wealthy people who have money to purchase generators, direct to home satellite system and has antenna that can boast their cellphone signals...so naturally, villages of today is already developing into something that we can relax and just embrace the beauty of life and nature.

You can live there in village provided that you are safe by trees and thunderstorms. Just build a good house will do for you.

There are advantages and disadvantages to living in both, in a city you have everything such as hospitals, schools, shops, place of works etc in close proximity. But i suppose that not many people really know each other aswell as in a village. I personally prefer to live in the city as i think that i would find country life to boring and slow.

I used to live in a rural village three miles south of the city. In the city they had broadband and we had dial up Internet. We had limited shops that were quite expensive. I had to cycle 3 to 5 miles to go shopping at one of the two supermarkets. It was 2 miles from a rural train station. The city had an east train station and a much further away west station. The bus station was a ten minute walk away from the east station. The bus didn't go early enough and it had a long gap in the evening. It cost a lot to go on that bus. I relied a lot on cycling my bike. I loved going on the countryside walks. I liked the city with its historical buildings. Then I moved on the edge of a coastal town and I felt I had the best of both worlds. I had the convenience of a great supermarket within walking distance and a bit of a longer walk I had a train station. Two years ago I moved to a bungalow in a quiet close in the coastal town. I like living here and don't imagine I need to move again. I would hate to live in a city. I like a city for visiting and shopping but not living.

Well, this one is easy for me. Since I was born and raised in NYC I will have to say the city is the place for me. Although I like the country and its nice to visit, I think the city have much more to offer.

I live in the country and am a village girl through and through. I live near beaches, moors, woods, forests, feilds, farms, old buildings and even caves. The people in the local shops are really friendly and I never get bored. I have lived in a city once and it really wasn't for me, the noise, the concrete, the super rush, the polution, I couldn't take to it all lol! I guess thats why we do have cities and villages, there is something for everyone. :)

I actually like them both but of course I prefer the city as it is very convenient. But there are times that I like living in the village if I wanted to spend a peaceful summer. Village can be perfect for soul searching purposes but I love the City since it is alive 24 hours and I am the type of person who wants to see poeple when I go out at midnight unlike in village where they sleep so early and it is scary to go out after 8:00 in the evening.
