I have heard of that if aged people often drinking some tea will be healthier than those aged people seldom have tea. There's more than 500 chemical composition in tea, such as protein, amino acid, polysaccharide, vitamin, and inorganic salt, which is full of nutrition. As well as it is rich in biological active substance--tea polyphenol. All of these are helpful for aged people to prevent diseases, and to keep a good health.

Tea is not only good for aged people but everyone! Tea contains antioxidants. tea's antioxidants protect your body from the ravages of aging and the effects of pollution. Tea may reduce your risk of heart attack and stroke. A 5.6-year study from the Netherlands found a 70 percent lower risk of fatal heart attack in people who drank at least two to three cups of black tea daily compared to non-tea drinkers. Tea bolsters your immune defenses. Tea also is the second most popular beverage after water :D

I believe that it is also helpful and healthy to start drinking it at a younger age. I mean, why wait to grow old and drink healthy tea when you can start living healthy young, right? I guess, being young just makes as busy with so many things that living a healthy routine is not easy to follow but if we could do something about it then it's a good way to live a long healthy life.

Unfortunately, like many things, it is easier said than done. There are many things that hinder us to do the things we plan to do. Motivation gets lost and we lose track of routine. Discipline is very important if we plan to change our daily routine.

I think that even younger ones should drink tea regularly, well instead of soda, after every meal. Tea can help our stomach digest the food and eliminates toxins in our body.

You've a nice subject matter. To butt in, eating or drinking enough of a kind is godly. But when taken in more than what the body needs is against nature. Some body parts react branding them poison and no longer help digestion. Be and stay moderate in all things taken in by the body.

I love to drink tea and almost drink it every day when I am at work in the office, but not when I am back home because most of the time I stay in the office. I prefer drinking tea to drinking plain water. Since tea drinking has so many benefits, I will keep on with this good habit of mine. lol. Thanks for the nice discussion. Have a good day.

I can say drinking tea helps a lot with our digestion. But, it must be natural herb tea and not commercial ones. I have a friend who gave me dried tea leaves from their local place and it's really good. Not only the taste but it helps me a lot when it comes to digestion.

I agree with what you say in your first sentence. I, too, drink tea almost everyday. It is marked "Lipton yellow label tea". I feel it's great in the process of digestion. I am puzzled as to the term natural or commercial tea. For me they're the same. They came from plants. There's but a hairline difference between the two; one is sold in stores while the other is taken from the garden or farm.

As a matter of fact, tea is good to be consumed by people of all age. Tea had always been known to bring a lot of health benefits to its savior. In the past, nation with tea drinking habit is known to have less diseases such as cancer, heart disease, high blood pressure and the likes of them. This is because tea can reduce the risk of having such diseases by reducing the toxics we have in our body and balances the energy and heat of our body. Wait no more and drink some tea as soon as today.

I agreed with that . I drink 2 glass of tea every day. In morning and in middle night before I go to sleep. It can make me woke up with fresh body. If we like, we can mix tea with sweet honey or maybe with cream or milk. I usually drink it with it's original taste. Very bitter but I like that.

Thanks for your sharing my friend, that's true add some milk in the tea may tastes sweet but I think it is not as good as the original taste. Ejoy your day!

I just want to know a tea that will help me to relieve my stress and depression as well. I've tried other teas even the herbal. There are times that I like the taste but there are times that I don't like it especially if that is slimming tea.

Thanks a ton sharing this discussion. Well yes u are correct but i think excessive intake of tea is also not good for aged people. They should they rather take herbal tea which will help them fight several diseases during the later part of the life. Having general tea most of the time will no doubt keep them alive and alert but then the proportion of certain ingredients in tea is not good for the aged people. They should rather take it twice a day and depend more on making themselves happy and healthy. What say?

I've heard stories of certain teas being good for you but never really researched it for myself. I'm surprised tea has so many benefits. Especially protein I would never have guessed that tea contained protein. Its nice to know for once something I enjoy is good for me. It seems like most foods and drinks I enjoy are not healthy and I have to limit my consumption. Lol, now if only Long Island Iced Tea was healthy then I'd be set.
