did you experience facing up your fear? how did you do it? its my opportunity to overcome my fear of balls when i try to play tennis. before when i saw a ball that went into my direction , i got easily afraid because i have an experience of being hit by it when i was a child. from then on i got a fear on balls then. when i start to play tennis i cant hit up the balls . instead of hitting the ball up back to the opponent i rather go to the other direction because my bad memory on ball keeps playing on my mind. but my trainer is quite good and very dedicated to teach me the right things to play this game plus my effort and my willingness to play are the aspect to overcome my fear on ball.

I have also my fear and it is to ride on a roller coaster or a Ferris wheel. When I was kid I used to be afraid on heights most especially that it is circling. But then I overcome that when one of my childhood friend told me that I should overcome that fear for I will not feel the excitement in riding on them if I will not overcome those fear. So I tried to ride and I did.

i have a fear of water and heights, i don't understand how to get rid of this, till now, so always avoid them. Fear of tennis balls ? i never heard anything like that so far , i play shuttle and enjoy it. Good that you have a good trainee and you overcome it finally.

Thanks a ton sharing this discussion. Well we all have fears initially whenever we start a new venture but at the end of the day we have to overcome those fears and make progress otherwise we would get disappointing results. Now just as u i too initially had fears when i played tennis for the first time but i had firm determination to play tennis and that is the way i played good tennis afterwards and now i am a national tennis player. So do not get nervous and throw away all your worries and fears. What say?
