Mom just bought a pair of rabbits. Yay! The male one have pure white fur, while the female one have white fur for the upper part, and gray fur for its lower body. We put the cage at the backyards, where the sheds are. Initially the rabbits are very aggressive, my hand got full of rabbit scratch. But now the female one gets friendlier, it let me pet its head. I'm looking forward to be more close to them!

I hope they are either fixed or not hosued together, because you will have numerous baby rabbits. I hope you did your research before getting the rabbits. If you house them outside, they wont live as long as if they are housed inside. They need a strict proper diet full of pellets, hay, and fresh veggies.

Ah. You got me there. I didn't do any research. Mom just bought them out of nowhere, and suddenly I was put in charge of them. They are still small, so no worries about getting lots of babies. We tried following the diet suggested by the seller. We put their cage in the small storehouse in the backyard of our house.

Really? They are almost 5 month old by now, so maybe i should watch out for babies Aside from pellets bought from the shops, I was advised to give leaf vegetables each two days, and carrots or celery twice per week. I always though rabbit only eat carrot each meal for everyday before mom bought them. That's how bad Disney brainwashed my mind.

They can have babies as young as being a few months old, I saw a rabbit at the shelter who was 1 months old having babies. What type of diet did the seller recommend? A lot of times not having pellets, hay, and loads of fresh veggies will give the a smaller life expectancy. Also, leaving them outside will cut off a number of years.

Oooh you have a pet rabbit. I never had a pet rabbit. I didn't know rabbits could be aggressive. They're just so cute I wouldn't have guessed they are like that. hehe Well good with your new pets. I wish them all good health.

Yes, I also didn't know about that. I am like you, thinking that rabbit is a cute obedient pet. But Mom said it could be because the rabbit is not used to me yet. As time goes by, we can get closer, and it will be more willing to be touch. I'm really looking forward to the day i can play with both of them like a true pet. Thanks a lot for your good wishes.
