The Only Way to Understand Investing

I have considered the stock market as a risky business. I believe in taking risks that you can only come back from. The stock market is full of risks and you don't invest unless you understand there are no guarantees for a return. I am always wondering why there is ever any analysis of such a financial risk. You can have your reasons for investing in a stock. But, A RETURN IS NOT GUARANTEED. When I invest, it is because I can take the risk and understand the outcomes.

I have lost money investing in stocks, but I continue to invest at my own risk and judgement. It really isn't such a bad idea with the ability to do so reasonably.

I am very interested in investing in a stock market. What side do you use and what are you steps that you took when you first started? I am very interested in this because I am a stay at home mom with two children and we really need a way to start making some good money. I have always wanted to be sucessful in life and I really want my kids to have a good life! @ anggunmelati...what is the Forex market and how do I get started?

To be honest my fellow mylotters, one must understand that investing is risky. There is no guarantee of return, especially in the current market. You can research trends and diversify if it makes you feel comfortable. The only sure thing for me has been a CD (certificate of deposit) with locked in interest rate. Continue to study the risks/rewards of investing and good luck.

That is correct! One must be able to take the risk to get better rewards. What I do to be able to invest is to let go of money. One must know how to let go of money and think of it as just part of living but not everything life is. If you can give up money and not worship it that much then you can risk it which paves the way to investing. Once you can invest in risks, you have to learn and enjoy investing. Fear of losing should not be the point in the stock market. The enjoyment and thrill of gains and losses should be taken. One must not see the value of money in the fluctuating market, but the enjoyment of trying to get stocks that will really appreciate in time. Don't look at the value, look at the fulfillment and achievement that you can get when you can see your stock prices soaring. That's what makes stock trading a passion in itself. That's the only way you can understand investing. Look deeper into the purpose of investing and not just the monetary or the profit side of it. Just my two cents in.

Absolutely! Whether you make a return of not, money was saved.

I invest for income, so I need to know that a company or a business trust or a real estate investment trust has the means to pay me money regardless of economic situation. I will pay attention to payment history, debt, and the earnings generated from the asset. i will not invest in something that has no guarantee of return.
