Since the last trimester of my pregnancy I started to experience this creepy thing every 2-4am in the morning. I'm aware of some old folks about pregnant women that on the last trimester there are bad elements or ghost are hungry on the baby inside the womb. This is what I experienced, every 2am up to 4am in the morning I always woke up and I feel something strange like someone is really looking at me! At first I thought it's just hallucinations cause I always feel tired and dizzy of my pregnancy. But it happens almost everyday that time, I tried to tell it to my husband but I also got the same answer. Until I search on the internet what is this strange thing that happens to me.I've read in some articles and in reader's digest that what I feel is true. Did you experience that same thing mylotters? Did anyone know how to get rid of this?

No would not say it is scary because it is just you thinking. Believe in God that he is protecting you and your child. Pray to him. God is watching you while you sleep. it is him and no need to get scared at all. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead..

The more you think of it, the more convinced you will be about it. The best way is t not think about it. Our mind is a very powerful tool. It can make us feel and see things whether real or not, and if we choose to we will. Faith is also important. When we only believe in God's grace and protection then thee is no need to worry.

I cannot blame you for that though. It has been a long time belief and almost part of our culture and growing up to have heard about these stories. I guess it must have been stressful for you being worried about it at those times.

I am not aware of what you have experienced. And looking back, I do not recall ever experiencing that. I really usually go up at 3am to go to the bathroom, but that was just it. No creepy feeling whatsoever.

I really do not have a clear explanation for that. But maybe, you are just thinking so much or you got sort of an idea from superstitions that you have heard. But just the same, do take care of your health. Thinking too much may not be good for you and your child.

I don't know how it started just that I realize I always woke up those set of time and feel that someone is staring at me. Also I can't believe it when I read articles and questions about the same thing I experience. Especially in Reader's Digest.

That situation is like paranoid, maybe that is part of your pregnancy there's such a feeling that you cannot understand because of the ambivalent feeling, there is fear, excitement, whatsoever. Just keep relax, don't stress yourself. :)

Maybe you are right. The feeling of pregnancy is so different than others especially men or maybe women who doesn't experience pregnancy yet don't understand. Thanks to you.

Yes. This is a well known stuff that happens to many pregnant women. There are saying that these ghost will be targeting pregnant women because they want to go inside the baby and took over the body when it is time of delivery. In that sense, the baby being born later is not really your original baby, but something else. This has happened to many and sometimes these things would cause the loss of baby. You need to be really careful with these things and I would advise you to ask for professionals in supernatural field to guard you or chase them away to avoid trouble. There is no possible way to chase them away other than this. If you are a Christian, I heard that you can get the blessed salt, scatter it on each corner of the house and rooms, and also put some at the windows and doors so that those things cannot come in. Remember to do that when the sun is brightest and sun light is everywhere in your house. That way they couldn't have been in the house before you put the blessed salt. Good Luck.

What I have experienced when I was pregnant is that there are those strange sounds outside our house! Here, we call it tiktik or manananggal, those are creatures, that according to our folklore, eat babies from the mother's womb. Sometimes, there'll be scratching on the roof, the dogs just wont stop barking at night and it's like a giant bird is hovering around our house. (For Filipinos, you know what these are ) thank god my father is brave enough to go outside, throw salt on our roof (to drive those evil creatures away, according to the traditions) and thank god, I was able to deliver my son safely.
