Do you eat breakfast before going to work or do you just bring it on your way?

breakfast - Pancakes, buns, eggs, sausages and hash browns for breakfast.

I know not eating breakfast isn't helping my metabolism, but to tell the truth I don't eat breakfast most of the time. I got used of not eating anything before going to work. I just usually grab something to drink from the fridge. Sometimes I do have the chance to buy something somewhere and just eat it on the way. I think it also has something to do with me waking up a little bit late that makes me don't want to eat breakfast anymore, since I usually wake up like 3-4 hours before lunch time.

Welcome to myLot! I am used to eating breakfast as a kid until now. They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I don't know why. I guess its really depends on the person's body. If I eat breakfast, I may not eat snack and just eat at lunch again

I have a night job, so either I eat breakfast when I get home or go to sleep right away and skip it. But if I had a day job, I'd prefer to eat at home so that I'll be really awake, full of energy and ready for the day by the time I leave the house.

I remember the time during my nurse duty days when we get night shifts. Every time I get home is the time I eat breakfast. There was one time that I had to choose whether to eat or to sleep, since i'm very hungry and very sleepy at the same time. I had given up eating that time before bed because I can no longer open my eyes. lol. Anyhow, thanks for sharing silentwill.

In my case I chose sleep because I find it hard to sleep after eating. I know some people get sleepy when full but for me my body awakens if I eat something and will lose my sleepiness for hours.

I used to eat breakfast at home before leaving and go to work then sometimes still eating breakfast at work if there are still time before the work starts.For me,I don't skip breakfast since it is most important meal of the day for me.

That's a double breakfast for you. haha. Enjoy both breakfast at home and at work. Yeah, I agree it's the most important meal. I have to convince myself about that.

I dont eat breakfast but my metabolism is quite fast . I may just drink some juice and thats it until lunch time , I dont feel hungry in the morning . Drinking something is just as good liquid increase your metabolism .

I eat here at work, as my internet cafe is along side my home. Plus its cheaper to make my own breakfast here. Also i can usually make it, right before Im ready to eat it.. fresh

We are almost in the same boat... yes most of the time I don't like eating my breakfast but I drink juice. We all know that it is not good for not eating breakfast. I used to it before but now, I couldn't do it, my stomach will growl and growl if I cannot eat.

For me, the best thing on the go is an apple and/or a glass of milk mixed with supplement powder (SlimFast, Instant Breakfast). I always keep a bag with two apples and a bottle of water...along with a granola bar (homemade) for an emergency. The first apple is for mid-morning, the apple is for midday, and when I finish around 2:30, I eat a big lunch! :)

not eating breakfast is a big NO.. it is important in our daily life to start it with our stomach full so we can focus on our worked and for our digestive to be healthy.. just try your best to have a time to have a breakfast even though you have a busy schedule..^_^

Hi nrtan, I believe in having a hearty breakfast before leaving hoe, it takes care of most of my day since my lunch gets delayed and sometimes I eat just a fruit until I get home in the evening.If yu have no time, even having a glass of milk and munching an apple is a good option,I do that sometimes when I too wake up late and am rushed..all the best and happy mylotting

When I have the time, I prefer eating at home. It's just a moment of peace and zen. Flipping through a magazine, eating calmly in the dining room, sipping some hot tea, listen ti the birds singing... ah, so perfect. A great way to start the day. But sometimes I just grab something to eat, and eat it on the metro or bus.
